The entry and exit doors of Novel Mysteries escape rooms are always unlocked. Guests are free to exit the experience at any time. Please note, however, that if guests decide to leave, the timer will not stop or pause.

The Novel Mysteries escape rooms are family friendly and are not scary in nature and are PG-rated in content. Since the escape experiences are based on mystery novels, some level of suspense in the story setup of the room should be expected.

Novel Mysteries escape rooms provide great entertainment for families. While the content of the rooms are for any audience, the complexity of the puzzles are recommended for children ages 10 and up.

Children under 18 must have a parent/guardian signed waiver on file before entering the escape room experience. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The adult does not have to participate in the room but must remain on-site in the reception area of Novel Mysteries throughout the duration of the escape experience.

The doorways are wide enough to be ADA compliant. There are items and puzzles that are above reaching distance but there are plenty puzzles that are under 4 feet.
